Main speaker for the parenting course

Practicing ABA specialist, behavior analyst with international certification (BCBA, IBA), supervisor, author of parenting manual, co-author of electronic record keeping method «Electronic Protocols».

Specialist in a wide range of: social, play, verbal, life, academic, etc. programs for people with special needs from 1 to 25 years old.

Teaches the major part of the lectures on the course, holds in-person meetings with each family and answers questions.

Anastasiya Semyannikova (BCBA, IBA)

Main speaker for the parenting course

Practicing ABA specialist, curator of behavioral programs, Bachelor of Social Sciences in “working with children with disabilities,” practitioner in working with children with ASD.

Specialist in a wide range of: social, play, verbal, life, household, etc. programs for people with special needs from 3 to 12 years old.

Teaches the major part of the lectures on the course, holds in-person meetings with each family and answers questions.

Fedor Filatov (АВА specialist)

Invited speaker for the parenting course

Practicing ABA specialist, manager of broad spectrum behavioral programs, inclusion specialist in kindergartens and schools, co-author of the electronic record keeping method «Electronic Protocols».

Previously, together with Anastasia Semyannikova, she worked in Ekaterinburg as a lead manager of behavioral programs and an instructor.

On the course, she teaches part of the lectures. After the course, she does remote supervision and support for families and their professionals.

Vera Ermolova (АВА specialist)

Practicing ABA specialist, curator of a wide range of behavioral programs, teacher at a school for children with special needs.

Works under the supervision of Anastasia Semyannikova.

She checks homework and answers questions in writing. After the course, she provides remote supervision and support to families and their specialists.

Why are punishments short-lived and ineffective?
How to be unbiased when seeing reinforcing actions for different behaviors?

See valid reinforcements (rewards) in behaviors
Use only reinforcements without resorting to punishments
Distinguish between reinforcements that work and things a person just likes

Problem and alternative behavior

What are problem behaviors and alternative behaviors?
What is the difference between alternative behavior and the behavior we want to see?
Why does a person need alternative behavior and would be happy to be taught it?

Спасибо за лекции, очень помогли в плане понимания ситуации и поведения своего ребенка. Формат также очень комфортный. Отлично, что есть возможность задать вопрос и получить ответ. Здорово, что кроме словесного восприятия, были и графики и примеры и просто какие то точно подобранные картинки, изображения. Домашние задания соответствовали материалу лекции, и помогали еще больше закрепить материал.
